1979 - First UK company to install a rotary calciner.
In 1979, Jesse Shirley became the first company in the UK to install a rotary calciner. This enabled the
company to produce in excess of 4,000 tons per annum of consistent, premium-quality calcined bone ash.
With further investment this has since been expanded
to over 16,000 tons per annum.
